Are you eager for a fully funded experience in Switzerland? The Global Leadership Challenge (GLC) 2024 is now accepting applications from aspiring leaders worldwide. Jointly organized by the University of Oxford and the St. Gallen Symposium, GLC aims to nurture and empower emerging leaders to make an impact in their communities through sustainable development.
This prestigious leadership challenge will welcome 100 participants to engage both virtually and in person, emphasizing the importance of responsible leadership in tackling global challenges. Applicants will be evaluated on their commitment to addressing pressing issues and their leadership potential.
Program Overview:
Participants will take part in a series of workshops, discussions, and mentoring sessions led by distinguished experts, academics, and business leaders. The core of the program lies in collaboration; attendees will work in groups to develop impact-driven projects that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The proposed projects must address one of the following key areas:
– Good Health and Wellbeing
– Quality Education
– Gender Equality
– Climate Action
The group with the best project proposal, as selected by the Award Jury, will earn the opportunity to attend the 54th St. Gallen Symposium as “Leaders of Tomorrow” in May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
– Must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program, or be a young professional aged 21-30.
– Completed undergraduate degree.
– Demonstrated experience or involvement in leadership, extracurricular activities, or social causes.
– Available to participate fully in the program from 12-16 December 2024.
– Active participation is required to receive the Certificate of Achievement.
