How the Fellowship Works:
The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship is divided into three phases:
Virtual Assessment (1 Month):
The fellowship kicks off with a virtual assessment, where participants will conduct community mapping and a needs assessment. This stage provides young leaders with the tools and resources to analyze the pressing issues in their communities.
In Person Fellowship in the USA (10 Days):
Participants will travel to New York and Burlington, Vermont, for 10 days of immersive learning. During this time, they will work on addressing the community issue they identified. They will receive guidance on implementing their ideas through leadership workshops and collaborative sessions with fellow participants.
Virtual Project Implementation (Post Fellowship):
After returning home, fellows will work on executing their project ideas within their communities. This implementation phase ensures that the fellowship’s impact extends beyond the USA.
