UNICEF Youth Foresight Fellowship | Paid program | 2025

In order to be considered for the UNICEF Youth Foresight Fellowship 2025, applications are currently being accepted. Young people are eligible to apply for a paid fellowship to work with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to improve the educational system and create a brighter future for children. Young people and children are brought together through the UNICEF Youth Foresight Fellowship with the purpose of developing skills in foresight, analyzing global trends, and leading projects. 

The ultimate goal is to shape a future in which the voices of young people are heard, respected, and influential, and to advocate for child rights. There is no geographical restriction on who can apply for the Fellowship. Furthermore, there is no application fee, and fellows will receive a stipend in addition to support for the implementation of the project. There is a six- to ten-month duration for the Fellowship. Specifics Regarding the UNICEF Youth Foresight Fellowship in the Year 2025

The Subject of Interest

Candidates demonstrate an interest in education, research, youth engagement, and/or advocacy in their application processes. Experience in facilitating, workshop delivery, STEAM, or advocacy campaigns is a bonus.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any and all Nationals are eligible to apply for the Fellowship.
  • Between January and September of 2025, the time commitment is seven to ten hours per week.
  • Level of Language Competence: English fluency is required, and knowledge of the languages spoken by the United Nations is a plus.
  • The United States of America, Algeria, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritania, Ecuador, Haiti, or any of the regions of Europe and Central Asia, South Asia, or East Asia and the Pacific that are administered by UNICEF are required to be the applicants’ places of residence.
