- The EU Engagement postgraduate scholarships are available to applicants who are residents of the UK, Switzerland, or the European Economic Area at the time of application.
- The postgraduate scholarship program in the UK is open to applicants who are considered international students for tuition cost purposes.
- Additionally, this program is open to students starting full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught master’s programs in 2025.
- Scholarships at the University of Strathclyde are not available to students who are categorized as Home or RUK for tuition price purposes.
The EU Engagement Scholarships’ advantages Postgraduate Courses Taught in 2025:
Depending on the faculty and course, there are varying numbers of postgraduate scholarships available.
Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty:
- For full-time ourses at the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, scholars will receive between £5,000 and £10,000.
- £10,000 for MSc International Relations, MSc Clinical Health Psychology, MSc Research Methods in Psychology, and LLM courses (Law School).
- In addition, scholars will receive £5,000 for all other master’s programs, with the exception of online and distant learning programs, modular program costs, and Centre for Lifelong Learning program fees.
The Business School at Strathclyde:
- For all courses in the Human Resource Management (HRM) departments, Strathclyde Business School scholars will receive £10,000.
- The £9,000 award will go to scholars of the Economics/Economics and Policy of Energy Climate Change.
- Students who study economics and finance, entrepreneurship, management (apart from master’s degree programs), management science, or marketing are awarded £11,000.
- The departments of finance and accounting will receive £12,000.
Engineering Faculty:
All qualified EU students enrolled in full-time courses will receive £8,000 from the Faculty of Engineering.
Science Faculty:
- For full-time courses at the Faculty of Science, scholars will receive £7,000–£10,000 as listed below:
- The Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, the Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry, and the Department of Physics all offer full-time postgraduate taught master’s degrees for £8,000.
- All full-time postgraduate taught master’s degrees in the Computer & Information Sciences and Mathematics & Statistics departments cost £7,000 (not including the following).
- MSc Quantitative Finance, £10,000
- £10,000: Actuarial Science MSc Online MScs are not eligible.
