Qualifications for the QCEC 2025:

  • Candidates in the Junior Category must be younger than 14 years old (born on or after May 23, 2011), while those in the Senior Category must be between the ages of 14 and 18 (born between May 23, 2006, and May 23, 2011).
  • An international writing competition for students and schools is held every year: the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.
  • It is required that the essay contributions be submitted in English. We do not accept any other languages.
  • There are 1500 words in the Senior Category and 750 words in the Junior Category.
  • The candidates’ personal information shouldn’t be included in the essays. During the application procedure, personal information will be provided.
  • The topics offered in the Senior and Junior categories must be chosen for the essays.
  • Plagiarism is prohibited, and essays that include it will be rejected outright.
