Program Purpose

The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship is designed to support cooperation between Americans and people from other countries through giving them expertise to handle common concerns. During their fellowship, people take part in courses and leadership opportunities at a U.S. university. Together with their U.S. counterparts, fellows try to solve issues shared by their countries in public health, economic matters and supporting the environment.

  • Applicants should have worked in their profession for at least 5 years (after getting their undergraduate degree) and be in the mid-career stage.
  • If you want to work in this profession, you need a bachelor’s degree (equal qualifications are also accepted).
