You can now apply for the TMU Southbound Policy Elite Study Program which will take place in 2025 in Taiwan. This is a program in which you receive a scholarship and take part in a short-term visit to Taipei Medical University (TMU). Its’ purpose is to provide opportunities for students from abroad who want to study in Taiwan. For five months, between September 2025 and January 2026, students will be given the opportunity to study, learn about Taiwan’s culture and boost their skills and experience. Guests will get the opportunity to appreciate Taiwanese culture, make friends with others and make use of high-quality resources at the university.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applications to the TMU Southbound Policy Elite Study Program can be submitted by those living in the listed regions.
- The countries in Southeast Asia are Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos).
- In the region of South Asia are the countries of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
- The region of Oceania is made up of Australia and New Zealand.
People who apply for this program should have these qualifications
- It helps to know biological sciences, medical care, laboratory work or how to analyze data
- Get a bachelor’s, master or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university
- Show your level of English by scoring one of the following marks on a test:
- The MYTOEIC score she received was 785.
- IELTS: 5.5
- The score I got in TOEFL iBT was 72.
- The score I received in TOEFL ITP was 543.
- PTE: 50
- Show a financial statement that shows you have net assets of at least USD 1,000.
