Yale Peace Fellowship 2026 is an opportunity of a lifetime to the upcoming leaders keen on conflict resolution and peacebuilding. This full-feledged fellowship, awarded by the International Leadership Centre at the Yale University is meant to strengthen and link peace activists around the world.

This program is expected to gather the best 16 peace fellows to receive both online and real-life training experiences. It is not merely a fellowship experience; it is an evolving process that will not only hone your leadership ability, enlarge your international network and plunge you into cross-cultural experiences.

Program Structure

Yale Peace Fellowship 2026 is a virtual program, held on a bi-weekly basis in January-May of 2026. During these sessions participants are going to learn leadership (development), negotiating skills and superior peacebuilding measures with international experts and facilitators (on leadership).

After the virtual training and it achieves success, fellows will participate in its in-person seminar at Yale University in New Haven, USA, between April 13 and 17, 2026. The course will enable the members to have a workshop of intense workshop, working together on projects, and sharing the experiences with similar leaders.

To top the unique structure, the fellowship shall also comprise an international study trip to UAE between February 1-5, 2026 where fellows will attend the esteemed Zayed Award for Human Fraternity award ceremony. Such an event will present a remarkable avenue of encountering peacemakers, diplomats, and policy makers across the world.

Eligibility Criteria: 

To be eligible to apply to join the Yale Peace Fellowship 2026, you should:

  • Have shown experience in peacekeeping, reconciliation or conflict resolution
  • Be a strong leader with the qualities to motivate people towards other people
  • Be committed to cross cultural understanding and cooperation
  • Have a command of English
  • Agree to the complete involvement of the three parts of the program (virtual sessions, USA-based seminar, and study visit to UAE)
