Scholarship Duration:
The duration of the scholarship varies depending on the program. For advanced master’s and bachelor’s programs, the duration is one year. For continuing education programs, it ranges from 2 to 6 months.

Eligibility Criteria:
– Must be a national or resident of eligible countries listed by ARES
– Must hold a diploma equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from a Belgian university for advanced master’s and continuing education courses
– Must have obtained the relevant academic degree within the last 20 years at the start of the course
– Must have at least two years of relevant professional experience post-degree
– Must be proficient in English; knowledge of French is preferred
– Can apply for only one training course at a time

How to Apply:
– Applications must be submitted through the GIRAF platform
– Create and activate a GIRAF account, then access the application form under the “My tasks” tab in the Competitive Calls section
– Fill out the application form carefully, as it cannot be edited after submission
– Successful candidates will be notified via email by the end of June 2025

– Must not have previously received an ARES scholarship
– Affiliation with a partner institution
– Potential to contribute positively to society

– Certified copies of original diplomas

– Proof of residency for the past 5 years
– Certificate of nationality or copy of passport
