The British Council UK 90th Anniversary Fellowship 2026 is an important chance for international researchers to participate. Fellows may use the library’s resources, find a workspace and join other researchers for Fellows’ Lunches on a weekly basis. Eligibility Criteria
Anyone applying for the British Council UK 90th Anniversary Fellowship 2026 must meet the following criteria:
- Come from a country that has received aid from the ODA (a complete list of eligible countries is provided later).
- After application, you must have already received your doctorate (during the years 2018 to 2025).
- If the doctoral degree was awarded before the 2024 deadline, applicants should include details of any major breaks they have taken for personal reasons, saying why.
- If candidates have not finished their studies, they should submit results from their oral examination and all corrected changes to their thesis.
- Those interested should not have been permanently employed by a university.
- You can apply for an American Academy of Arts and Sciences fellowship unless you’ve had one before, but temporary or periodic academic job holders are eligible.
- When you take parental leave, the time you spend away isn’t counted against the seven years.
