The Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship 2026 is an exclusive fellowship that can help mid-career professionals to enhance leadership capacities focused on the cultural sector. This is one of the fully-funded fellowships, sponsored by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in conjunction with Clore Leadership and is aimed at those who are interested in cultural development, immersing themselves in the creative innovation and making positive changes around their communities.
The fellowship will offer its participants an experience that will change their lives in the UK in which they will take part in leadership training, professional placements, mentoring as well as reflective learning. The program also seeks to establish a pool of leaders who are visionary and can impact the culture of a nation and the rest of the world by inducting all the talented individuals around the world having the future of the organization as a common goal.
Structure of the Fellowship
Chevening Clore Fellowship combines a variety of learning experiences. It involves structured instruction with leeway, personal growth opportunities so that all the fellow benefit through the programme.
- Residential Leadership Courses: Fellows complete two intense residential courses providing a deeper study of leadership approaches and concepts.
- Skills-Based Workshops: Workshops outside of residency are facilitated to build effective skill-sets in leadership.
- Online Climate Assembly: It is a one-day virtual gathering to make an invitation towards shared problem-solving around global issues.
- 360 Leadership Profile: Although Fellows will be given a detailed profile on their form of leadership, strength, and weaknesses.
- Secondment in the UK: A 4-6 weeks attachment in a UK cultural organization is done by each participant. Such position exposes fellows to new concepts and working situations as well as practical experience.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the fellowship, the applicants are supposed to have met special requirements:
- Be a citizen, and a resident in one of the qualified countries such as Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico and South Africa.
- Comply with good second-class honors degree (UK equivalent) or demonstrate in the case of professional experience of equivalent standard.
- Should be at least five years of working experience in a relevant field.
- There must be dedication in wanting to go back to their home country after doing the fellowship.
