Fully Funded GRIPS Summer Research Internship 2025 in China

Applications are now for the 2025 GRIPS Summer Research Internship in China. China’s top four universities—Zhejiang University, University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University, and Nanjing University—host this fully funded summer internship in the Yangtze River Delta.

200 undergraduate and graduate students from around the world will be invited to a university for a research internship. The internship lasts 5-6 weeks. The Program runs June–August 2025. This program gives students a taste of research life at China’s finest universities. There is no application fee and GRIPS covers all costs. See below for details.

Place of internship

Zhejiang University, the University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University, or Nanjing University will host the summer internship.
One of these universities will host participants for a research study. These universities are in Hangzhou, Hefei, Shanghai, and Nanjing.

Standards for Eligibility
All nationals can intern.
Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students at a recognized university.
Two years of study are required for undergraduates.
Junior and senior pupils are preferred.
A good academic record is needed.
