Young leaders around the world can use the Imperial College London Leadership & Peacebuilding Certification 2025 to sharpen their leadership and join in peacebuilding activities. Imperial College London will host the five-day fully funded course from September 8th to 12th, 2025. Global Peace Chain hosts the program and allows participants of various professions and education levels to come together who are passionate about leading well and settling conflicts. Out of 25 fully funded scholarships, this program pays for airfare, housing, meals and the program which is why it offers a rare chance to improve your leadership skills at a world-renowned college.

Overview

The purpose of this course is to develop the skills and understanding needed for leaders to support peace and social transformation. Throughout the week, people attending will join interactive workshops, group exercises and sessions aimed at improving leadership skills, thinking about conflict sensibly and increasing communication ability. Students on the program get to build professional connections with people from many parts of the world, helping to promote international understanding.

Anyone from any discipline is invited to participate in this course. No matter your role as a student, young activist, professional or educator passively involved in social or educational activities, this certification will let you impact more people.

Additional Details

People attending the program will benefit from instruction in leadership and peacebuilding, discussions in groups, cultural activities and celebrations for awards. Taking part in your program will earn attendees a certificate and give them an invitation letter to help with getting their UK visas.

The program works to develop participants’ ability to use conflict sensitivity and skills needed to solve disputes successfully. It will also give professionals a way to share experiences and cooperate globally.

Date

Schools are required to register students within the week from September 8th through 12th, 2025. Successful applicants will learn the result by July 5th, 2025 and should confirm their participation by July 15th, 2025.

Imperial College London in London, United Kingdom, will host the certification course. The program takes place in London which is internationally famed for its history, many cultures and excellent universities.

Funding

There are 25 scholarships fully funded by the program and an additional 50 scholarships with only partial funding. Those scholarships from the organization provide coverage for:

  • Airfare to fly back from London
  • Housing for the time the program lasts
  • Every meal is part of the event.
  • Program costs which include both workshops and materials
  • T-shirts, hats and other items that show you’ve completed the program
  • If sponsors request a visa letter, we provide that assistance.
  • Being selected means these participants can attend events at no personal expense.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Those applying for the job must turn 18 years old.
  • A volunteer should be deeply interested in helping towards peacebuilding and similar activities.
  • Designed for students, young people looking to engage and professionals or employees participating in social projects.
  • You do not need to show IELTS or TOEFL scores.
  • Each person who applies should be willing to learn better leadership and help others in society.
