Financial Benefits

The McCall MacBain Scholarship helps students with all types of financial assistance such as:

  • Payment of the entire cost of the program for the whole period.
  • 2,300 CAD each month is given to cover costs of living.
  • Extra financial assistance for students who move to Montreal.
  • During the summer break, you could get summer funding of up to 5,000 CAD for a positive experience like an internship, summer school or volunteer activity if you are not attending classes.
  • Recipients of scholarships will be able to meet international advisors and mentors, join workshops and talks and thus enhance their academic and professional careers.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for the McCall MacBain Scholarship in 2026, candidates must fill the listed criteria.

  • Applicants have to be below the age of 30 when they make their application.
  • Candidates must hold a first bachelor’s degree awarded in the last five years (from January 2020 onward).
  • International students have to be enrolled as full-time students.
  • If required, applicants should supply evidence that they can speak, read and write English well.
  • The program needs to be 45 credits to be eligible for the McCall MacBain Scholarship at McGill University.
  • Leadership and outcome of achievements in school and outside activities should show a candidate’s ability and commitment.
