- Age: At the time of application, be under 35.
- Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in education, science, culture, or a similar discipline that is pertinent to the areas of operation of ICESCO.
- Proficiency in at least one of the working languages of ICESCO, such as Arabic, English, or French, is required. Two-language proficiency is preferred.
