Qualifications

  • All Nationals are eligible to apply for the Fellowship.
  • Experience: Candidates must have worked as a professional journalist for at least five years. In extraordinary circumstances, equivalent expertise might be taken into account.
  • Field: Applications are welcome from freelancers. However, those working in corporate communications, public relations, or public affairs are not qualified.
  • Global Reach: Journalists from Europe, Africa, the Asia-Pacific area, North America, and Latin America are encouraged to apply.
