The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship 2025 eligibility requirements are as follows:
- International scholarship recipients may be students from any country in the world. Foreign students who are not New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or those with a resident visa.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a University of Auckland degree program that qualifies.
- Candidates must be either English Language Academy (ELA) students with a conditional offer or new full fee paying international students who have obtained an unconditional or conditional offer.
- Candidates must be working toward a PGDip, a Master’s degree with at least 120 points, or an undergraduate degree with secondary or post-secondary education from abroad.
- A stellar academic record is required.
- In order to qualify for this international scholarship, applicants must have a grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00.
- Candidates must fulfill the university’s English language competence criteria.
- Students need to be registered as “on Campus.” Students enrolled in distance education are not eligible to apply.
